DynaCab™ Pack SBB 8x10 is Based upon Ampeg SVT 8 X 10 SVT 810AV Bass Cabinet, this cabinet is voiced with the original 10 inch cast frame woofers (with reportedly 30 oz magnets!). It contains a whopping 26 mic options!

DynaCab Pack - Dr. Bonkers Soundlab SBB 8x10 Bass - Vol. 1 is based on the Ampeg SVT 8x10 SVT 810AV Bass Cabinet equipped with the original 10-inch cast frame woofers (with reportedly 30 oz magnets). The Ampeg SVT is capable of focused bass tones, delivering deep lows, articulate mids, and crisp highs, making it versatile for a wide range of musical styles. It is basically the fallback “rock bass cab” — the tone by which all others are judged — but it also excels across alternative, funk, fusion, gospel, hard rock, indie, jazz, metal, Motown, pop, punk, rock, soul, and more. It loves clean, slightly driven and full-on distortion tones, and is even great for extended range and down-tuned guitar.

The well-loved, well broken-in cabinet we captured was rented from a renowned source who wishes to remain anonymous. It is their go-to cab for recording, and they have a lot of options to choose from!

Since each DynaCab pack is based on a single speaker, we selected the Top Left driver. Its rich, vintage tones offer a distinct alternative to the many "honky" versions of this cab already on the market. If there’s enough interest, we may release future volumes that explore additional drivers from this legendary cab, adding even more tonal versatility.

ROOM IRs
In addition to the standard DynaCab files accessed through Cab-Lab, this pack includes a zip file of room IRs. After your order is processed, you'll receive a link to download these extras directly from shop.fractalaudio.com.
To load a room mic IR, drag and drop the file into one the four main channels of Cab-Lab 4.

DynaCab™ replicates this process in a revolutionary way, allowing you to hear results in real-time while graphically moving a virtual mic on a virtual speaker. Compared to previous techniques, DynaCab™ makes it faster, easier, and more intuitive to find the tone you’re looking for.

DynaCab™ technology transforms the experience of finding your tone. Instead of cycling through countless IRs, the visual, intuitive Cab-Lab 4 interface allows you to select your desired speaker cab and mic, then easily adjust the position and distance until you achieve your desired tone.

Key features include:

• DynaCab™ IRs are 8192 samples.
• Fine spatial resolution sampling for mic positions.
• Combine up to four DynaCab™ selections or mics per mix.
• Automatic time alignment for mix-and-match flexibility at any mic distance.

Important Information

• DynaCab Packs require Cab-Lab 4, our free IR mixer and tools application/plugin.
• An internet connection is required for installation and authorization on a Mac/PC.
• DynaCab Packs do not add new DynaCabs inside the Cab block. Instead, they are opened using Cab-Lab 4 to create and save custom mix IRs into "User Cab" slots on the hardware, offering enhanced flexibility and a wider range of sonic options compared to onboard Dynacabs.
• Cab-Lab 4 connects directly to Axe-Fx III, FM9, and FM3 for saving mixes to a user cab slot and can export files for Axe-Fx II or AX8
• "Software Live Mode" in Cab-Lab 4 allows live mix monitoring via any compatible audio interface.
• Cab-Lab 4 functions as a VST/AU Plugin to "Re-Cab" live or recorded amp tracks and is compatible with other modeling plugins.
