FM9 Turbo - Amp Modeler / Multi-FX / Floor Unit

The FM9 makes any FOH Engineer extremely happy. They get stage volume control without sacrificing sound quality and all they need to do is run two XLRs for me. Boom thats it. I use mine for many different churches i play and visit and everyone is blown away by the sounds they hear coming from a single floor unit. They also seem to push guitar up more in their mix because of all the goodness of this unit. What can’t this unit not do. Literally makes me seem better than I am. Haha

MY FM9 TURBO IS MAKING ME A BETTER PLAYER! I am suddenly hearing new details in my playing that I never did before. The tones are inspiring and leading me down new musical avenues. It just sounds right and while playing, I find myself being reminded of other tunes. Many of the stock Scenes and names make dialing in specific tunes and associated tones, a breeze. The FM9 is a very well designed and solid modeler. Not the smallest or lightest, but certainly one of the best. The years of product development really shine. They hit it out of the park with this one. The stock Scenes are incredible as are the Presents (8 per Scene) and world-class effects. Having all that extra DSP under the hood and 9 glorious footswitches is a match made in guitar heaven. I am also finding it pretty intuitive easy to use. You can use as is without much deep diving needed, unless you want to. The feel is also worth mentioning. It responds extremely well to playing dynamics. There are also truly limitless tonal and creative possibilities with this unit. The team, support and online community are top notch. It makes getting support, training, access to unique tone packs very easy. This should be a very important consideration for anyone. In conclusion, I have looked at many other modelers- even bought some. In my opinion, none of them come close to the FM9. My only regret is not buying one sooner!

Customer service is excellent, use the Forum!! Unit arrived yesterday and spent a few hours playing with it. Very intuitive and pretty east to get good sound out of it right away. I'm sure I'll be 100% impressed in a few weeks!!

I have been using the FM9 for only a week however in that time I am having a blast creating presets to use for live performances. This was well worth the wait!!

I appreciate the attention to detail fractal puts forward in their products and the fm9 is no exception. Starting with the build, this thing is a tank. The housing is solid and does not dent or flex. The finish is very tough and scratch resistant and doesn’t show scuffs either. Moving on to the function, this unit can make any idea a possibility. I know these units are criticized for how many parameters they allow you to tweak, but I appreciate it. The best part is you can make it as simple as you want to just bmt. This unit is reliable in cold conditions out of a cold trailer and in the hot summer festival sun and delivers reliability. This unit has made my load in, load out Simple and affords me more time to focus on playing. Sound engineers appreciate the quick direct in with no stage volume but still great tone. This pedal is truly something to be appreciated from the people listening to the people running the show. Thanks fractal for helping me give me the tools to sound my best and looks the best with pro gear.

It's a dream to just think that I own the Fractal FM9. I am still in the process to learn how to use the product at its full potential.
